Support Our Community Program: A Corporate Approach to Giving Back

ISA Support our Community Program 10/03/2025

Support our Community Program: Independent Security Advisors & EPtraining.us are honored to announce that the ISA Support our Community Program has, on behalf of the graduates, instructors, and cadre of EP class 928-25, donated to the Shriners Hospitals for Children and St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.

As with every ISA training program, a portion of the tuition and the primary instructor’s salary is given to support a local charitable program in the name of the students, cadre, guests, and role players.

The graduates, hosting agencies, and sponsors are asked to select those charities. This class chose two charities that focus on children, not only in Georgia and Tennessee, but nationally.

What started as the ISA Give Back Program, a student referral plan that made donations to charity for every student a graduate referred to a future class.

It has evolved into the current ISA Support Our Community Program. https://www.eptraining.us/isa-executive-protection-class-gives-back-in-charitable-donation-program/blog/

This class was hosted by the Fulton County Public Safety Training Center and sponsored by the Center for Security and Anti-Terrorism Training. These two organizations collaborated to offer our accredited executive protection training to 22 students, featuring four subject matter experts and three video teleconferencing sessions.

 L. Thurman, the Managing Partner of V Companies, conducted the introduction to the Business of the Security Business course for private sector students looking to open or expand their own companies.

Mr. Jereme Dozier, CEO of Axios Security Group and Axios Investigations Firm, was a guest instructor who conducted a Surveillance & Counter-Surveillance module.

And Mr. Nico Perrino, FIRE's Executive Vice President and the creator and host of FIRE’s So to Speak: The Free Speech Podcast, and Lt. J. Schmahl of the Emory University Police Department, spoke on the challenge of protecting the rights of speakers on campus within the confines of the security environment post Kirk.

Students also visited and toured a house of worship, the Georgia International Convention Center, Signature Airlines, and the Tom Lowe Shooting Grounds.

Each site spoke to the students about EP operations and how they were conducted at each location.

Support our Community Program: Who to help then?

Located in Memphis Tennessee, St. Jude is leading the way the world understands, treats and defeats childhood cancer and other life-threatening diseases.

Through groundbreaking treatment and research methods, expert staff and our community of supporters,

St. Jude provides customized care for some of the world's sickest children regardless of their race, ethnicity, beliefs or ability to pay.

The Shriners Hospitals for Children.  A pediatric healthcare system that provides specialty care, including burn care, colorectal & gastrointestinal (GI), craniofacial, orthopedics, pediatric rehabilitation and therapy, pediatric surgery, rheumatology, scoliosis, spine & spinal cord, sports medicine, urology, wound care & skin disorders.

They also conduct research, and educational programs from hospitals across the United States.

This outstanding group of graduates and the ISA Support Our Community Program will make a difference in the lives of children and their families.

And while we are proud of their academic accomplishments, we are honored to be part of this effort to help others. Congratulations, class 928-25
